Northwestern Conquest[]

On September 14, 2013, the Qvaitican Defense Forces began physical aid for North Qvaitican rebels. This occurred after the Unicy conflict of September 12, when the rebels attempted to conquer the capital of North Qvait. The physical aid was given to the North Qvaitican rebels as a result of the issuing of Order 42 from the President of South Qvait, Johnathon Victor. Order 42 was recommended to Victor on September 13 by the Secretary of Defense, Victor Cutter.

In the night of October 3, the North Qvaitican province of Bolivar became wholly occupied by the Arctic Republic and the North Qvaitican rebellion. The day before, Victor Cutter made it clear in a speech that the prime objective of the war was regime change and not annexation.

Massacre of the Twelfth[]

On October 5, sixteen southern soldiers were ambushed in Izmagrad by communist guerrillas and murdered. This triggered the systematic bombing of communist hotspots. On October 8, the rebellion made their advancement back to the communist capital. Meanwhile, the QDF stretched control alongside the border.

Armistice proposition[]

By October 12, rebel advancement towards Unicy was halted after the Battle of Kazangrad, in a decisive communist victory. Simultaneously, the QDF seized Tácon in a decisive victory against the Socialist Forces.

On October 15, more than one-hundred battles became indecisive, with the death total rising. Unable to continue, ARQ President Victor proposed a cease-fire armistice, much to the liking of the people of South Qvait. Izmaylov and Victor were to meet on October 19 in an undisclosed setting.

Gargulio event[]

One day before the planned armistice meeting, a nuclear bomb was detonated in the North Qvaitican city of Gargulio on October 18. However, in undisclosed documents, the bomb that was detonated was stolen from a QDF military base on August 9. An international incident, the communist government of the North declared a continuation of war.
